As given on the beginning of April, the Ukrainian exporters used all of the quotas for the export of honey, sugar, barley and flour.
During January and February 2016, Ukraine has exported agro products for $787,5 million to EU, informed the press service of the ministry.
“According to the results of the first two months of 2016, the export to the European Union made a total more than 700 million USD. As an example of the free-trade area work, we can mention the overall index of export of 2015 – it made a total of 4,2 billion USD” – announced the deputy minister of food and agro policy On European integration Vladislava Rutitskaya.
She also noticed that by the beginning of April the exporters used all the quotas provided for the export of honey, sugar, barley and flour, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juices, and 97% of the provided quotas for oat export.
“Those are the so-called “first to come – first to be served”. Speaking on the positions according to the principles of licensing, the quotas for corn export are fully used, quotas for wheat – for 88%, and the quarterly quota for the export of poultry meat” – added the deputy minister.
